Rosneft relies on tenders to select the suppliers of oil field services as well as of works in the construction sphere. Tenders are also used when selling goods, specifically oil products and gas. Not only do tenders bring about major economic benefits by ensuring high levels of transparency when selecting suppliers, they also reduce risks of corruption. To this end, Rosneft has specially developed conditions for the holding of tenders, as well as appropriate tender documentation. Work on procurement at tender is based on the laws of the Russian Federation.
